Scan-to-BIM is the process of converting 3D laser scan data (point clouds) into intelligent Building Information Models. The resulting models contain parametric building components with geometric, material, and classification data for design, coordination, and construction workflows.

Full Intelligence
Every element contains material, dimensional, and classification data for accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimation.
LOD Customizable
From LOD 200 schematic design to LOD 500 as-built documentation. Detail levels tailored to your project phase and requirements.
Industry Standard
Export to RVT, DWG, IFC, and NWC formats. Compatible with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and all major design platforms.
BIM Modeling Questions
We deliver BIM models from LOD 200 to LOD 400 per the BIM Forum LOD Specification. LOD 200 provides schematic geometry, LOD 300 includes accurate dimensions, LOD 350 adds detailed connections, and LOD 400 is fabrication-ready with full assembly detail.
We deliver in RVT (Revit native), DWG (AutoCAD), IFC (Industry Foundation Classes open standard), and NWC (Navisworks coordination). IFC enables interoperability across any BIM platform.
Standard Scan-to-BIM projects take 1-2 weeks from point cloud delivery to completed model. Simple single-story structures may be faster; complex multi-story buildings with MEP systems require additional time depending on LOD requirements.
